Plot Yourself on the Electoral Compass

Here is a link to a great tool for this election season: the Electoral Compass.

It asks you a series of questions about the key issues (as selected by a combination of political scientists and journalists) then plots your position on a 2 dimensional scale along with the positions of the candidates.

The candidates positions were created using their own statements from a variety of sources as judged by an independent group of analysts.

The resulting plot shows a point that represents your average position and also a circle that shows the amount of variance in your answers. Overall, a really impressive presentation with some cool ways to play with the results to find out more about each issue area.
